How to Send Salesforce Deal Notifications to Slack Automatically

A workflow that sends Slack notifications for:

  1. Deal Closed Won → #sales-wins channel
  2. Deal Stage Changed → Deal owner DM

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Connect Your Apps

In FlowLogik, connect both Salesforce and Slack:

  1. Go to ConnectionsAdd Connection
  2. Select Salesforce and authorize
  3. Select Slack and authorize

Step 2: Create the "Deal Closed" Workflow

Trigger: Salesforce - Opportunity Updated

Condition: Stage = "Closed Won"

Action: Slack - Send Message to #sales-wins

Message Template:

🎉 *Deal Closed!*

*Company:* {{Account.Name}}
*Amount:* ${{Amount}}
*Owner:* {{Owner.Name}}

Congrats to the team! 🚀

Step 3: Add Conditional Logic for Large Deals

Add a branch for deals over $50,000:

Condition: Amount > 50000

Action: Slack - Send Message to #leadership

Message:

💰 *Large Deal Alert*

{{Account.Name}} just closed for ${{Amount}}!

Step 4: Notify the Account Owner

For stage changes, send a private message:

Trigger: Salesforce - Opportunity Updated

Condition: Stage changed

Action: Slack - DM to {{Owner.SlackUser}}
